Cybersecurity is teamwork

System updates, penetration tests, emergency drills, technical and organizational security measures, along with clear communication paths are the basis, yet awareness is key.

Cybersecurity affects us all

In a digitally connected world where fraud scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated, clear measures and strong structures are needed, along with a high level of vigilance – both within the company and among customers and partners.

We are currently seeing increasing attempts by cyber criminals to misuse AEB's good name. These include, among other things, fake emails that appear to be coming from the Managing Directors of AEB SE. Due to the manipulated sender addresses, they appear “real” and are intended to prompt the recipients to make payments or disclose sensitive information.

AEB protects the data entrusted to it! However, the information used in phishing emails comes from publicly available information such as LinkedIn, conferences and more. Recipients are derived from third-party sources. Probably with the help of AI, deceptively authentic emails are being created – sometimes even capturing AEB's tone. But none of this comes from AEB. Vigilance remains important!

Security at AEB

Availability, confidentiality, integrity – these are AEB's top security objectives. We provide information on this in our Trust Center

Cybersecurity is teamwork – and we at AEB live by it

At AEB, we do a lot to protect our systems, platforms, and data. This includes:

  • Up-to-date ISMS including ISO 27001-based processes.
  • Regular security updates and audits
  • Training on phishing, social engineering, and modern threats
  • Multi-level technical security measures
  • Clear reporting channels for incidents – internally and to authorities

Cybersecurity affects us all. Stay critical. We do, too.
