Want to make a difference before you graduate? Here you’ll find the perfect space to complement your classroom training. Bring your newly acquired knowledge and your fresh perspectives – and gain impressions and experience inside a software company with lots of exciting opportunities.

Joining AEB: your options.

Student job

Want to gain real work experience while studying? At AEB, you can make a big difference and help your own development. As a software company, we’re interested primarily in computer science and other tech-related courses of study, of course – but even those with a different major should take a look at our job listings.

The goal: Gain insights and experience – and get a permanent position.

Thesis and internship

Want to get a glimpse into an exciting industry? Or do you want to write your thesis in a real-world environment with strong support? Completing a required internship or writing a thesis is a good opportunity to get an in-depth look into an industry – and pave the way towards your professional future.

The goal: Insight, your thesis – and an ongoing partnership.

“What really sticks in my mind is that during my time as a student worker, my co-workers made me feel like a real part of the team, not ‘just the student.’ I was also given a lot of freedom to organize my own working hours.”

Tobias Hübl, working student for 5 months on Customs team, now a permanent member of the same team

“Working without feeling like you’re at work: Working with and for each other has been an integral part of my day-to-day work from the very beginning. People treat each other as equals, whether they’re old hands or newbies.”

Is there a possibility for a permanent position after that?

Ideally, we always want you to stay with us when you complete your training or studies! And in many cases, we make that happen. But we can’t guarantee it. During the pandemic, for example, we – like many other companies – had to freeze or postpone new hires.

Can I do a voluntary internship with you?

Depending on the field of work, that’s something we can talk about. We occasionally have voluntary interns with us, even if we don’t have any positions advertised.

How long does an internship last at AEB?

Our experience shows that an internship of less than three months makes little sense, since it takes some time at first to gain basic familiarity with the company. Six months is ideal. But that doesn’t mean we won’t make an exception for a strong candidate with persuasive arguments ;)
