Do I need to send suppliers a separate notification that the supplier’s declaration must be submitted?

No. Your supplier is notified by email that you are requesting a supplier’s declaration of the export control status of goods. The email brings the supplier directly to the online declaration form. You can largely automate this process, including automated email reminders.

How will my suppliers know that this is a serious request to submit a supplier’s declaration of the export control status of goods?

Ideally, you should notify your suppliers in advance about this new method for sending requests. You can also customize the portal where suppliers log in by adding your logo and the colors of your corporate design.

What does my supplier need in order to issue the supplier’s declaration of the export control status of goods?

All the supplier needs is a current web browser. We recommend Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.

Does my supplier need to register anywhere?

No, the supplier does not need to register. They only have to verify themselves by confirming an email. The verification can be customized to meet the customer’s security needs.

Does my supplier need to input everything manually?

No. Suppliers have the convenience of using either a batch process or downloading the request as an Excel spreadsheet and automatically maintaining the required information there.

Can my suppliers view the declarations they’ve submitted?

Yes, of course! Suppliers can access the portal at any time to view and even subsequently download the supplier’s declarations that they have issued.
