The software specialists AEB SE and consolut GmbH are jointly presenting their first fully integrated multi-carrier shipping solution based on the SAP® Business Technology Platform (BTP). AEB Carrier Cloud for SAP® enables companies to seamlessly integrate and automate label printing and shipment processing for a multitude of carriers and parcel services into their SAP system.
Thanks to the implementation on the SAP® Business Technology Platform, all business logic and communication processes are executed outside the SAP core system. This is in line with SAP®'s clean core strategy, which aims to avoid modifications to the core system. Companies benefit from significantly reduced maintenance costs and greater flexibility when it comes to system updates.

From label printing to shipment tracking - directly in SAP®
The way it works is very simple: Shipping data is transmitted to Carrier Cloud for SAP® on the basis of events via the SAP® Event Mesh from SAP S/4HANA®, SAP® TM, or SAP® EWM via the BTP. The AEB solution then automatically generates shipping labels in the appropriate format and enables them to be printed - whether at individual packing stations, consolidated in the shipping office, or in fully automated conveyor and labeling systems.
The result is smooth and high-performance shipping processes for all goods and all modes of transport. More than 300 carriers and parcel services are connected to Carrier Cloud for SAP®. It also supports the shipment of dangerous goods, package-by-package processing, proof management for inner-Community shipments (“entry certificate”) and shipment tracking.
