Done: Carrier Connect directly from your ERP, WMS, CRM, or e-commerce system

Carrier Connect lets you link carriers and parcel services to your existing SAP system or any other host system. Standardized interfaces and plug-ins are available for many such systems, and an API with comprehensive documentation makes it easy to connect other systems. AEB has also equipped Carrier Connect with programmed interfaces to the IT systems of over 150 carriers and parcel services and fine-tuned them with the companies themselves.Take advantage of these links to manage your shipping logistics directly from your host system. And new transport partners are being added on a regular basis.

The main benefit of Carrier Connect: You no longer need to spend your time and resources managing APIs or interfaces to your transport partners, so your application management expenses are sharply reduced. When a transport partner modifies its specifications for label formatting or EDI messages, for example, we automatically implement the changes in Carrier Connect. AEB even ensures that the routing data and service area lists of the various transport service providers are always up to date.

For SAP® ERP and SAP S4/HANA®: Integrate Carrier Connect into your SAP environment

Many companies – seeking to integrate carriers and parcel services with their own in-house SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA systems to manage the shipment of goods – cobble together their own solutions. But there is a much easier way: with the SAP plug-in for Carrier Connect.

The plug-in makes it possible to seamlessly integrate your complete SAP logistics processes, generate labels and sales orders directly from SAP, receive responses such as tracking numbers directly in SAP, and see shipments with all your providers in a single overview.

Carrier Connect integrates into the standardized processes and user interface dialogs of your SAP system using standard SAP technologies for a true plug-and-play experience. This greatly simplifies future updates to both your SAP systems and Carrier Connect. The integrated communication between Carrier Connect and the SAP software is managed through a web service.

Easy integration into the WMS SAP® EWM

A single interface in SAP EWM lets you connect to over 150 carriers and parcel services. The interface, developed by our partners at HPC, connects SAP’s standard Express Shipment Interface (ESI) with Carrier Connect. You continue to manage complex warehouse processes in the familiar SAP EWM warehouse management system, while Carrier Connect organizes the shipping logistics – and AEB provides regular updates, including routing data and new services.

"The Carrier Connect interface to EWM gives our customers a quick and flexible connection to parcel services and the ability to assign orders without connecting and updating each interface individually. Plugging directly into SAP EWM without the detour through the SAP ERP system has proven to be a quicker, easier, more modern interface from both a procedural and performance perspective. SAP’s latest announcements about the SAP S/4HANA strategy and their decision to discontinue LE-WM and LE-TRA make it clear that this is the only sustainable strategy for linking Carrier Connect to SAP EWM as a strategic warehouse management system."

Integration into any host systems:

the Carrier Connect API

Carrier Connect API is a powerful and flexible tool for integrating host systems. Application programming interfaces make it possible for different applications to talk to each other and exchange data efficiently. In today’s logistics processes, APIs ensure that processes can be automated and run smoothly without interruption between one software application and another.

Carrier Connect offers a powerful and highly flexible API that can be fully adapted to fit your logistics workflows. Small and flexible function calls make it possible to create a shipment early on in the shipping process, then flesh it out with data along each step of the process. At the packing station, all you need to do is add a package to quickly generate and print labels.
