With the licensed data service from Bundesanzeiger Verlag, the agreements are automatically updated in the system. Otherwise, the rules must be input and updated manually.
A long-term supplier’s declaration (LTSD) can be issued for a period of up to two years. This depends on the date of issue. The period of validity must be noted on the LTSD. A declaration can also be issued with retroactive effect. This process is described in the implementing provisions 2015/2447 and satisfies the requirements of the Union Customs Code. Origin & Preferences lets you define all permissible periods of validity.
You can update transaction data by re-importing it. Master data can also be updated through a fresh import – or manually edited if this option is enabled in the settings.
