Where does AEB get connected take place?

On site in Stuttgart at AEB's HQ:

AEB SE
Sigmaringer Strasse 109
70567 Stuttgart
Germany

How can I get there?

We recommend traveling by public transport. If you are traveling by car, please carpool. For all those arriving by car, we have some parking spaces directly at AEB in our underground parking garage. It's not huge - but almost all the spots have been reserved for you.

How to find us: by train, plane, or car.

  • Train: From Stuttgart main station, follow the signs to the tram (“U-Bahn” - unfortunately quite a long walk at the moment due to a construction site). From subway platform 4 you can take lines 5, 6, or 12. Then get off at the Riedsee stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to AEB.
  • Airport: Head towards the exit of the airport and follow the signs to the tram (“U-Bahn”, white U on a blue background - it's a short walk). Get on any of the trains waiting at the station and travel to Möhringen Bahnhof. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to AEB.
  • Car: Your GPS should have no trouble finding Sigmaringer Strasse 109. Parking spaces are available in our underground garage.

We'd like to ask for a favor: We need your help to record and offset the carbon footprint of AEB get connected. We would appreciate it if you could help us by completing the survey.

What is the motto of AEB get connected 2026?

The 2026 motto is
embrace the pace
Global trade in times of declining predictability.

A historic turning point on the one hand. Surprising stability on the other hand. Hardly any other business area is as confusing as the cross-border flow of goods. Regulatory back-and-forth, customs duties as political leverage, fragile supply chains, disruptive business models... Conditions are changing at a crazy pace.

At the same time, many topics have remained stable and permanently important for years: Digitalization, skills shortages, nearshoring, alternative sourcing approaches... There was, is, and will continue to be a lot to do.

How do those responsible for customs, compliance, logistics, and IT deal with this simultaneity of different developments? How to keep calm? How to proactively become more adaptable?

Not through speed at any price. But by having a solid stance in the transition. Orientation through interaction. And by building resilience that endures - through dialog, through technology, through collaboration.

What topics will AEB get connected focus on?

The topics all come from the fields of global trade, customs, trade compliance, logistics, transport, sustainability, and collaboration - always with a focus on technology and IT.

These four topics shape the Global Trade Tech day-to-day - and get connected:

  • generative supply chains
  • we form customs
  • creative trade compliance
  • global trade at the top table
How is AEB get connected structured?

At conferences, one size often fits all. At get connected 2026, the choice is yours. Find the right pace: Only you can decide whether you focus on the quick wins for all four topics or dive deep into two of them - and with get connected 2026, it really is up to you.

deep dive: The pace for making decisions and getting started
Digging deep for 90 minutes at a time, discussing, deciding.

core insights: The pace for being able to have a say
30-minute bits for sound decision-making skills.

quick wins: The pace for a quick first impression
3 x 8-minute short talks for each of the four topics.

Will get connected be in German or English?

What's the plan: German or English?

Both. Of course. After a successful test in 2024, we took on the next experiment: With live translation via app, whispered support, a bit of gibberish here and there, being a bit generous sometimes, and a sense of humor, we successfully tried out the next stage together.

We will certainly hold on to this and to the great added value for everyone: Experiencing truly new perspectives from the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, the UK, and from the many offices and warehouses in German-speaking countries, where English is the business language.

How can I become a speaker or contribute ideas?

Do you have an idea for the program? Then simply email us to vntsbcm by April 17, 2026.

What are the requirements for contributions?

Two things are important to us:

    • Your idea fits in well with AEB get connected's topics: Global trade, customs, trade compliance, logistics, transport, sustainability, and collaboration - always with a focus on technology and IT.

    Or:

    • Your idea isn't directly related to global trade, customs, trade compliance, logistics, transport, sustainability, collaboration and technology, but it relates to these topics and offers inspiration? Feel free to contact us.
