AEB get connected 2026 – Global trade in an unpredictable world

The 9th Summit of the Best in Customs, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Tech. May 19, 2026 in Stuttgart.

Do you even know which way is up right now? Welcome to the global trade cosmos 2026. There is probably no other area in companies where there is as much confusion triggered by external influences as in the transformation, organization, planning, and processing of the flow of goods - both in the physical and the digital spheres. Time to get up to speed, reflect, align - and exchange ideas: with 499 other experts. Time for get connected.

These four topics shape the global trade tech day-to-day – and get connected

Companies need to rethink supply chains less linear, more integrated.

Resilient supply chains are the goal: How can supply chains react and reconfigure quickly and flexibly? How can companies move away from reacting to what happens and towards anticipating and acting before it happens? Just in case instead of just in time. Will they help:

International trade remains volatile. How on earth do customs teams navigate through this?

While administrative complexity and national isolated solutions are increasing, new trade agreements are creating new opportunities – and require new approaches. And then the EU is also carrying out major reforms there. Just like SAP®. And what is AI capable of? There is no customs patent recipe for all this. Each team has to find its own way:

Compliance teams have to react faster and faster to new regulations.

Manual workflows and newsletters are too slow. Building additional teams is not an option. How can processes, tools, and adjustments become more dynamic and switch from reactive to proactive - or even creative? How does this work:

Supply chain and global trade are hot topics in the executive office today.

A niche for a long time – now in the spotlight. How will your role and responsibility change? What will it take to be accepted as an equal partner at the table? And: Where else are roles changing because transformation fails without expertise in tech, customs, and global trade? What is needed for:

Visual deep dive

The pace for making decisions and getting started

Digging deep for 90 minutes at a time, discussing, deciding. If it were a dance floor, then 60 BPM. Frog perspective. Microscope. More like a tea ceremony. More like 110%.

Visual core insights

The pace for being able to have a say

30-minute bits for sound decision-making skills. If it were a dance floor: Some 120 BPM. Farm horse. Zoom. More like a long drink. More like 20:80.

Visual quick wins

The pace for a quick first impression

3 x 8-minute short talks for each of the four topics. If it were a club, then 180 BPM. Bird's eye view. Wide angle. More like a whisky tasting. More like 80:20. Fast and good.

Will get connected be in German or English?

What's the plan: German or English?

Both. Of course. After a successful test in 2024, we've taken on the next experiment: With live translation via app, whispered support, a bit of gibberish here and there, being a bit generous sometimes, and a sense of humor, we successfully tried out the next stage together.

We will certainly hold on to this and to the great added value for everyone: Experiencing truly new perspectives from the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, the UK, and from the many offices and warehouses in German-speaking countries, where English is the business language.
