Why not?

Welcome to AEB's inaugural blog post.  Please check back frequently or subscribe to our RSS feed or email notification to stay apprised of new blog activity.

To our knowledge here at AEB, this is the blogosphere's only site focused on the applications of, and opportunities for, low voltage electron beam technology.  As the internet is fast becoming the primary source for learning about new technologies, we have made a commitment to invest in upgrading our website content in order to make www.aeb.com the destination for learning about low voltage electron beams and following the latest technology and application trends.  Our intention is to not only let you know what is going on at AEB and in the world of electron beams, but to start a virtual community of people who are helping to make in-line electron beam processing a pervasive industrial process technology.  If you read something interesting here and want to comment, please jump in.

If you already know AEB or have perused our site, you know that we are mono-maniacal in our commitment to change the world with our compact, low energy, electron beam technology.  Whether it be electron beams for advanced curing applications, materials modification, packaging sterilization, pollution abatement, food treatment, or weather control - this is the place to talk about it.  Be part of the revolution!  Or at least check in once and a while to see what we are thinking about.

Great idea AEB. This is wonderful finally a place one can learn and share knowledge about electron beam and related issues. Thank you for leading the way.

Gentlemen, this blog is a wonderful idea! Finally I can ask what happened to your JV with Jetrion which was supposed to deliver the frist industrial digital inkjet printer with EB curing.
Is it ready now? What is th estatus? When we could buy it?

Anyone have any info on using ebeam curable inkjet inks on wire and cable?

I have been to your web site many many times. This is a very intriguing subject (ebeam-uv curable inks). When using your AEB emitter, how much shielding is required. Does the emitter come self-sheilded?

I'm very interested in ebeam curable inks. I have interest in applying it to wire and cable. This could be a very huge market if it can be done, since wire and cable manufactures commonly use ebeam

to x-link the wire and cables insulation. If we could use AEB's small EB emitters to partially cure the ink on the cable then do a final cure on the larger beam, that would be the cat's meow.

question: we work with class 4-5 solid, volatile, sterile micronic and sub-micronic gmp proceses in dangerous environments. LVEB's sterilize inside laminar surfaces fairly well. how do you apply the beam to a turbulent environment and achieve the class a, 1mg per mc over an 8hr twa we seek to maintain over long periods of time 24x7 for 6-8 weeks. Then, how do you clean it without contaminating your people, the environment and effluents? Thanks.
