Description:
Build and test prototype equipment under limited supervision; develop and execute test procedures; debug electrical systems and establish root cause of equipment failures; recommend design modifications to improve performance, manufacturability, and system reliability; contribute to the development of new products and manufacturing processes.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience with high voltage systems and/or familiarity with safety/compliance standards and testing (e.g., CE, UL, CSA).
Minimum Qualifications:
- A.S. in Electrical Engineering, EE Technology, or equivalent
- Proficiency with standard test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, function generator, etc.)
- Soldering skills and ability to perform light mechanical assembly
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
- Pragmatic, results-oriented, collaborative attitude
