Description:
Lead the development of high voltage (50 - 200kV) power supplies and associated equipment used for electron beam generation. Provide functional management and technical leadership to a group of electrical, controls, and software engineers. Provide hands-on technical contribution and participate in design reviews. Develop product roadmaps. Establish and maintain standards and processes for electrical and firmware engineering. Manage development projects to schedule, performance, and budget. Ensure designs meet industry standards, and secure agency approvals (e.g., CE, UL, CSA).
Preference will be given to applicants having experience with industrial controls and interfaces, embedded controls, and a demonstrated track-record of bringing innovative products to market.
Minimum Qualifications:
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in a product development environment
- Demonstrated success managing product development from concept through commercial introduction
- Experience designing high voltage equipment
- Ability to manage the design of systems incorporating analog and digital hardware, and firmware
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pragmatic, results-oriented, collaborative attitude
